Yummy Outdoor Breakfast Pizza by Alfresco Grills

Enjoy Homemade Breakfast Pizza Outdoors with the Made in The USA Alfresco Pizza Oven. Either Build into a brick enclosure or Set on your counter top! Watch the video at the bottom.

Here's the Recipe

What you need:

1 can of your favorite sauce

Kosher salt

4 ounces pancetta, sliced and lightly rendered until just crisp

4 (12 ounce) ball pizza dough, room temperature

All purpose flour, for dusting

8 ounces mozzarella, grated (or try cheddar and jack cheese)

Handful fresh basil

Directions:

Preheat the pizza oven.

Crisp the pancetta either using a skillet on medium heat.

Sprinkle some flour on your pizza peel. Using a rolling pin, stretch your dough to a thin 10 inch round. Use a spoon to spread sauce on the dough, leaving about an inch crust.

Sprinkle with ¼ of the mozzarella and top with ¼ of the pancetta.Put the pizza on the floor of the pizza oven. Bake until golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes.

Gently remove from the oven and then crack and egg into the center of the pizza. Place bake in the oven for 1-2 more minutes, until the egged is cooked. Top with basil.
