Twin Eagles igniter replacement parts are available for TEBQ, TPBQ, Extreme, and Pinnacle grills. This category includes spark generators, ignition modules, and related ignition components specific to each Twin Eagles series.

TPBQ Ignition Systems (Battery Powered)

TPBQ grills use a AAA battery-operated spark ignition system.

  • TPBQ 30 grills without rotisserie: use a 2-spark generator (S16157Y)
  • All other TPBQ grills: use a 4-spark generator (S16156Y)

Changing the Battery in TPBQ Grills

  1. Unscrew the front cap on the face of the grill.
  2. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new AAA battery.
  3. Screw the cap back on securely.

Pro Tip: If you do not hear or see a spark after replacing the battery, try reversing the battery orientation.

TEBQ Ignition Systems (Electric)

TEBQ grills use an electrically powered hot surface ignition system rather than a battery-powered spark generator. Power is supplied by a transformer, and the electrodes are activated by microswitches on the gas valves to produce the glow from the hot surface igniter.

BBQ Depot Tech Tip: OEM electrodes use a thin, flat, rectangular tip that requires careful handling during installation. Verified exact-fit aftermarket electrodes use a thicker probe design that provides additional durability during install and electrode longevity.
