Ignition Troubleshooting FAQs
Why is my Lynx grill not sparking or igniting?
If your Lynx grill is not sparking or igniting, common causes include a corroded
battery holder, damaged ignition wires, a bad electrode,
or a defective spark module. If replacing the battery does not restore ignition, each
ignition component should be inspected individually to identify the failure point.
How do I know if my Lynx battery holder needs to be replaced?
Battery holders are wear components and often fail before electrodes or burners.
Replacement is recommended if the holder shows corrosion inside the battery compartment, or stops working even with a
new battery installed.
Are Lynx ignition parts universal across models?
No. Lynx ignition components vary based on grill configuration.
Different configurations may require different quantities of ignition parts,
or specific assemblies. Always confirm your exact model and burner count before ordering
to ensure proper fit.
