Newly Redesigned Sedona by Lynx Outdoor Grill

At the BBQ Depot, we love Lynx and all the outdoor products they offer. Lynx grills are made in the USA, incredibly built, luxurious, and can be expensive. In order to remain competitive in the ever expanding grill market, Lynx started to manufacture a lower, more cost effective line of grills called Sedona, which is classified as “affordable luxury.”  Manufactured by Lynx, Sedona grills maintain the same quality, and recognizable design and look Lynx grills are known for.

What's New With Sedona Grills?

The Sedona line is considered a more ‘casual’ grill option targeted towards home cooks who want the reliability offered by Lynx without paying the high price tag.  Overall, with the premium features and optional upgrades Sedona by Lynx offers - it truly has become one of the best bang-for-your-buck options when it comes to high quality, high performance grills. However, Sedona grills have now gotten even better! Sedona has taken their most-requested models and redesigned them with the same innovation and power, but added upgraded features while lowering the price! In otherwords, they've become more luxurious and even more affordable.

Sedona & Lynx Grill Similarities

The design of Sedona grills is similar to Lynx grill, offering:

  • LED control panels
  • a fluid rotation handle on the hood for a smooth opening
  • a spring assisted hood for easy opening and closing of the hood
  • a temperature gauge on the front of the hood for quick temperature visibility

Sedona Grill Standard Options

Some of the other key standard features of Sedona grills are:

  • They're durably designed with heavy duty stainless steel and welded construction that eliminates gaps where grease can collect
  • Inside the grill are 18 gauge stainless steel U-burners that emit 23,000 BTUs per burner engineered to endure temperatures up to 900 degrees (backed with a lifetime warranty)
  • They contain expansive heavy duty stainless steel cooking grates that provide greater depth (extending to more than 20 in. deep in most models) offering a larger cooking surface compared to other grills on the market
  • Beneath the stainless steel cooking grates are ceramic radiant briquettes that:
    • help eliminate hot spots
    • add more flavor to your food
    • generate perfectly even heat across the base of the grill
  • They use an electric spark ignition that makes lighting your grill quick and easy with just the push of a knob (also contains a battery backup so you don't need to try more than once)
  • They contain interior halogen lighting to illuminate the cooking surface for when you're grilling at night

Optional Upgrades On Sedona Grills

Sedona grills can be purchased with their standard features, or with 2 added upgrades - the patented ProSear Infrared burner and a rotisserie kit.

ProSear Infrared Burner

Here are a few key features of the ProSear Infrared Burner:

  • The ProSear burner will separate your grill into two different zones offering variable temperature control
  • This powerful burner emits 23,000 BTUs and unlike most burners which only offer high and off temperature settings
  • This burner gives you the ability to not only reach high temperatures for searing meats, but lower temperatures to cook delicate dishes like scallops

The Rotisserie Kit

The single speed rotisserie kit has a dedicated infrared burner that emits 14,000 BTUs that comes with a compact motor, spit rods and forks.

Complementary Sedona Accessories & Appliances

Sedona also offers great complimentary cooking and convenience products for your outdoor kitchen like:

  • Refrigeration
  • Drawers
  • Outdoor trash bins
  • Single or double side burners

The Redesigned Sedona Grills

Now let's talk about what has been changed in the Sedona line:

  1. Model numbers have a slight change.
    • The 30” L500 is now L501
    • The 36” L600 is now L601
    • The 42” L700 is not L701
  2. It has a new look, with a satin finish on canopy edges and brushed stainless steel finishes on bullnose, drip tray handle and freestanding cart door handles. These polished design updates enhance the overall aesthetic of the grill and make for an even more appealing look!
  3. Rrotisserie rod storage addition.  In the old model, the Sedona didn't have a storage space for the rotisserie rod, now you have a place to store your rotisserie rod for added convenience and a tidy solution when it's not in use.
  4. Additional interior halogen lighting (dual lighting) so you can have an even more clear view of what's on the grill no matter what time of day (*the 30” still has one interior light).
  5. Redesigned drip tray that is narrower and smaller so it's easier to control when releasing the tray so the liquid inside the tray doesn't spill all over the place.
  6. On the cart model, they've
    • Expanded the size of their cart shelves
    • The cart doors are now soft close
    • The interior cart shelf has been expanded to offer more room to store grilling essentials
    • The larger side shelves offer more room for food prep

Really, Sedona's redesign had the consumer's wants totally in mind - making an already great option even better!
