Sitting above the ceramic burner are ceramic radiant briquettes which help to reduce flare ups, provide even and consistent heat distribution and enhances the flavor of your food by catching any juices that drop from your food when cooking, which then vaporize and are reabsorbed by the food.

Lynx grills offers a limited lifetime warranty on the stainless steel grill body, ceramic grill burners, cooking grates, trident burner and rotisserie infrared burner. A limited 5 year warranty (free from defects in material and workmanship) on warming racks, spit rods, briquette trays, manifolds and gas valves. Lynx will replace or repair parts found to be defective at no cost to the original purchaser. A limited two year warranty on all other grill components are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship, when subjected to normal domestic use and maintenance. A limited one year warranty, Lynx will replace or repair parts found to be defective at no cost to the original purchaser. This includes the cost of shipping replacement parts and, where necessary, service labor at prevailing local rates by a Lynx authorized service person.

1. What are the benefits of having ceramic burners in the Lynx 30" grill?
The cast ceramic burners in the Lynx 30" grill are made of cordierite ceramic, which allows them to be able to withstand high temperatures. Ceramic burners retain and radiate heat better compared to metal burners which can expand and contract when exposed to high heat, weakening their performance. Ceramic will never rust or corrode and the ability to deliver intense, even heat ensures consistency when cooking.

2. Do ceramic burners require special maintenance?
The ceramic burners in the Lynx 30" grill do not require special maintenance, however, we recommend cleaning them regularly to prevent grease build up by cleaning the exterior and unclogging the port holes and inspecting them regularly to look for cracks or damage.

3. How do you use the rotisserie feature in the Lynx 30" grill?
First you want to start by installing the motor into one of the selectable positions. The slot that is set higher and closer to the burner is best used for smaller items that need to be cooked quickly and the slot that is set lower and farther away from the burner is best used for larger items and slow cooking. Slide the motor into the grooves located on the side of the grill to set it in your desired location. Once your motor is set in place, you want to plug one end of the power cord into the built-in outlet located on the rear left panel and the other into the motor. Assemble food onto spit, ensuring your food is placed evenly in the center and load one of the forks onto the spit (with the prongs facing the food) and securely tighten the screw to set fork in place. Add your fork to the other end of the spit, making sure the forks are secure the food by pushing the prongs together, then tighten the screw on the other fork. Do a test, turning the motor onto one of the selectable speed to make sure that the motor will rotate evenly. Set your spit in the desired position, making sure the pointed end of the spit goes directly into the motor. Light your rear infrared burner, close the lid and set your speed.
