Ceramic Burner Technology
Lynx ceramic burners are made from corrosion-resistant cordierite ceramic and are designed to distribute heat consistently across the cooking surface. Ceramic radiant briquettes above the burners help control flare-ups and vaporize food drippings for added grilled flavor.
Unlike traditional stainless steel burners, ceramic burners resist corrosion and maintain even heat, making them ideal for consistent grilling performance and long-term durability.

Lynx L36 FAQs
What is the difference between the L36 and the L36TR?
The L36 features three ceramic burners for consistent heat across the entire cooking surface. The L36TR replaces one ceramic burner with a Trident infrared burner for dedicated searing.
Can I cook with indirect heat on the L36?
Yes. The three independently controlled burners make it possible to create direct and indirect cooking zones for roasting and slower cooking.
Is the L36 suitable for rotisserie cooking?
Yes. It includes a dedicated 14,000-BTU rear infrared burner, dual-position rotisserie system, spit rod, and heavy-duty 3-speed motor.
Are Lynx ceramic burners durable?
Yes. Lynx ceramic burners are manufactured from cordierite ceramic, a material designed to withstand extremely high temperatures while resisting corrosion. Combined with ceramic briquettes, they deliver consistent heat distribution while helping reduce flare-ups. Like any ceramic component, they can crack if dropped or struck, but under normal grilling conditions they are built to provide years of reliable service.
Who should choose the L36ATR instead?
The L36ATR is better suited to grill owners who prefer cooking entirely over variable-temperature infrared burners.
