Lynx's newest innovation is the Flametrak safety system. It shuts off gas if the flame goes out. Sensors will attempt to reignite burner, if it cannot, it will then shut off the gas if there is no flame for 13 seconds. Each burner has its own sensor. It helps to provide grill safety whether the grill fails to ignite or a flame goes out.

The Flametrak system will notify you with the indicator that is above each knob when any action has been taken. This allows you to check the flame's status rather than opening the grill hood.
