Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Returns should be sent back insured and with a tracking number to assure that we have received your item,. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returned goods.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

If you received FREE shipping or a Flat Rate Shipping method, the original shipping fees will be deducted from your order refund.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Freight Shipping : Delivery times depend on location. You must be present to accept delivery. Curb Side Delivery Only. Shipping prices are for with-in the Continental United States (Contiguous USA). Shipments to Alaska Hawaii and Puerto Rico require additional charges. All other countries and US Territories are considered International for which there is an additional charges. 

Every freight shipment is insured. But in order to collect the insurance on damaged goods the receiver MUST INSPECT THE SHIPMENT BEFORE SIGNING FOR IT. Legally, when TheBBQDepot signs the shipment over to the freight company, the freight company owns it. When you receive the item and sign for it, you own it. Therefore it is imperative that you carefully inspect your shipment for any damage. If there is any damage at all you must note the damage on the freight bill. This is the only way you will be compensated for the damage.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect your packages following the steps below:

IMPORTANT! All DAMAGES must be reported to 1-877-983-0451 within 48 hours.

STANDARD DELIVERY: 
If your package arrives by UPS or USPS, you have 48 hours to call us at 1-877-983-0451 to report any damages. lease take an image of the damage an send us an email.

FREIGHT DELIVERY: 
If you authorize the freight company to leave freight without a signature, TheBBQDepot.com cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces. 

If your order ships via freight, please be sure to follow these important steps :

1.  Be sure to perform a pallet/piece count on the delivery receipt and be sure that matches the number of pallets and/or pieces you receive.

If a anything is missing:

  • Write the number of pieces you received this the delivery receipt before signing.
  • Call us at 1-877-983-0451 immediately to inform us of what is missing. We will follow up with the shipping company to assist in locating the missing items.

2. Inspect the packaging for external damage.

If you can see any damage on the packaging:

  • Open the box and inspect for any internal or concealed damage before signing the delivery receipt. 
    If you notice external damage and the delivery driver will not allow you inspect the inside of the package or the driver will not let you note “damaged” on the delivery receipt, call us immediately at 1-877-983-0451. If you are unable to reach us, you should refuse the shipment. Doing this will not invalidate your order and we will still work diligently to get your order to you in good condition as quickly as possible.
  • On the delivery receipt, Note any damage you can visually see to the packaging or products and write the word DAMAGED

PLEASE NOTE: Signing your delivery receipt without noting any damages legally states that you have received your freight in good condition.

4. If there is no visible external damage, please sign for your freight.

5. Please inspect your items for concealed damage after the driver has left.
