How Many Burners Does My 36" Grill Use?
Twin Eagles 36" grills use multiple main burners. Refer to your model designation below:
| Model Type | Number of Main Burners |
|---|---|
| G Models | Requires 3 Burners |
| R Models | Requires 3 Burners |
| RS Models | Requires 2 Burners |
Note: If your grill has been modified with an upgrade kit replacing a U-burner or Sear burner, the number of standard main burners may vary. Always verify your current burner configuration before ordering.
Tech Tip: Inspect the remaining burners in your grill. If multiple burners show signs of wear or uneven flame output, replacing all worn burners at the same time helps maintain balanced heat across the cooking surface.
Burner Maintenance & Troubleshooting
When should I replace my burner?
Replace the burner if the metal is flaking, pitted, or cracked near the flame ports.
Structural deterioration affects flame consistency and cooking performance.
How do I clear clogged burner ports?
Grease buildup and spider webs can clog the small burner ports. Use a small drill bit
or an opened paperclip to carefully clear each port. Avoid toothpicks, as they may break off inside.
Why is my flame mostly yellow or orange?
A proper flame should be primarily blue with small yellow tips.
A mostly yellow or orange flame may indicate an improper air-to-gas mixture.
Adjusting the air shutter may correct the issue.
