Artisan ARTP-42 13" Briquette Tray Assembly - 510-1305
The Artisan 510-1305 Briquette Tray Assembly is a original heat distribution tray used in Artisan ARTP 42" Models.
This tray holds ceramic briquettes and sits above the burners to evenly disperse heat across the cooking surface while shielding the burners from direct grease drippings.
Over time, briquette trays can rust, or deteriorate due to high heat, grease and repeated use. Replacing a worn tray helps restore consistent cooking temperatures.
Sold Individually. This Grill will take three briquette trays unless you have installed a sear burner. If so, then it will take two. Do not put a briquette tray over a sear burner as the intense heat will ruin it.
What Does the Briquette Tray Do?
The briquette tray distributes heat evenly across the grill. The briquettes heat and continue to radiate heat.
If the tray is rusting or falling apart, heat distribution becomes uneven.
