Fire Magic flavor grid replacement parts are available for both current and legacy grill models. Fire Magic grills use a stainless steel flavor grid (heat shield) system that sits above the burners to help distribute heat more evenly across the cooking surface.
When flavor grids begin to rust through or develop holes, they should be replaced. Worn grids can allow concentrated flame to pass through damaged areas, which may lead to uneven cooking or flare-ups.
