3. Easier to take apart than put back together

   Valve worked fine but taking it apart was easier than putting it back together to line every thing back up. Lining uo up valve orifices to burners was a feat, especially since the units screws were heat welded together with time.

4. Works Perfectly

   After inheriting a used Jenn-Air, I looked up this part number to replace the old, non-working main burner valve. This replacement works perfectly. It was a little work getting the grill apart and replacing the part, but it was not difficult. I was able to reuse the original orifice, which saved a few $$ too!

7. Most Affordable replacement valve

   I searched high and low for a replacement Jenn Air propane burner valve after the (alleged) "lifetime warranty" service claimed a new replacement valve under warranty would cost $70 in shipping and take 8 weeks for delivery. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this one as the price was a third of the cost from other on-line BBQ part suppliers which specifically listed my model # for the part. Although the model # of my grill was not listed for this item, Jenn Air #720-0163, the photo matched what my (main) burner valve looked like. This valve does not include the jet, so make sure to use your old one. Also, the clamp which holds this to my propane supply tube did not fit - it was designed for a larger tube; but using the old OEM bracket with the new supplied screws fit perfectly, so be careful when removing the old valve so you don't damage anything in the event you have to re-use it. I have a feeling that the actual valve is pretty generic, and the variations are in the clamp and jet, so this becomes a good universal replacement one. If you own a Jenn Air, and you are looking for a valve and can not cross reference the part #'s, take a look at this one and if the photo looks like yours, there is a good chance you can make it work. This does have the original spring loaded dial stem which requires you to push in to turn on, so I was very glad it mimics the original valve and the re-installed knobs still function like the others. I am a very pleased customer. Shipping was very fast with a same day shipping notification. After almost a month of multiple uses after installation, it runs fine!

8. Extremely reasonably priced and works great

   Exact same product that comes factory with the grill...others were looking for notably more money for the same product. thebbqdepot sells it for an even better price than the manufacturer. Fits my Jenn-Air 720-0165

   Part also works for 702-0337. It is OEM quality. You do need to transfer your old nozzles to the new valve.

10. Exact match formally Jenn Air Grill

    When I ordered the gas valve, I was concerned that my model Jenn-Air gas grill which uses natural gas was not on the list. The picture on the website made the valve look exactly the same, but I was not sure it would work for natural gas. The valves were an exact replacement and work perfectly well. I am back to grilling.
