Short vs. Long Trident Burner:
This is the short Trident ProSear2 burner used in select 27" and 36" Lynx grills.
If your grill uses the long Trident burner (found in 30", 42", and 54" models),
see Lynx Part #33415 (Long Trident Burner).
The ProSear2 burner and the Trident burner are the same infrared burner. Lynx originally used the name ProSear2 when they transitioned from earlier grill models that featured a rectangular-style infrared burner.
Because of this, N-series Lynx grill manuals may still refer to this burner as “ProSear2”, while replacement parts are now commonly identified by the Trident name and OEM part number. This does not indicate a different burner.
