The springs were back ordered but once they came in I was notified and they shipped right away.
I have a grill cleaning business and these were replacements for a customer.

Perfect fit
This spring has the open hooks which are essential for connecting to the posts. Some of the off brands have a closed loop which does not fit over the post.

Extension spring with hook is too long
I emailed the BBQ Depot (info@thebbqdepot.com) on 7/8 regarding my order right after I received it as well as called them. I have a 42" Sedona by Lynx (L600PS-NG) and this part sounded like it was the correct replacement part based on all the material I read. The existing spring broke. The replacement seems just a bit too long and it doesn't stay latched when the hood is closed (or open). No one responded to me and I don't know how else to get their assistance. I love my Lynx BBQ, and I hope this gets through to them to reach out to me for the right solution. Otherwise, great BBQ!
