  1. Planned Obsolescence at it's Finest!

If you have an $8000 Lynx Grill you will have to replace these trays every 3-5 years. A $400 price tag. You would think they would make the trays out of Stainless Steel and ceramic briquettes that don't fall apart after 3 years. I'm sure there are better performing products out there .

  2. Lynx keeps getting better

Bought a free-standing 42 inch unit about 15 years ago - high price but worth the money - it has stood up well outdoors with only the plastic cover to protect it - every time I've need to order a replacement part, the quality improves.

  3. Not worth the money

The ceramic briquettes crack and the clips bust off after about 2 years so you can't flip the briquettes to clean them. Im not impressed with Lynx after 3 years

  4. Lynx Grills aren't worth the $$

Had to replace th ceramic trays after 3 years. For $6000 42" grill. My old Weber Genesis performed better. Have ad to replace theses the igniters and the searing burner and it's only 3 years old. It's Also in a covered area covered and well cared for. Temp control is also very poor.
