Lynx 30, 42, 54 Brass Burner - 30485
Genuine Lynx OEM Cast Brass Main Burner – Part #30485 for select Lynx Professional gas grills (2002–2014).
This is the original factory Lynx brass burner replacement engineered for even heat distribution, long service life, and clean blue-flame combustion.
If your Lynx grill is producing uneven flames, weak heat, or visible port damage, this is the correct OEM burner — not an aftermarket substitute.
Why Choose OEM Cast Brass?
- Original Lynx manufactured part — not aftermarket
- Heavy-duty cast brass construction resists corrosion
- Integrated adjustable air shutter for proper air-to-gas mix
- Designed for consistent blue flame and even heat output
- Sold individually
Cast brass has been a signature component of Lynx Professional grills since their early generations. Unlike cast iron burners, brass will not rust and provides superior long-term durability in coastal climates.

When Should You Replace Your Lynx Burner?
Before replacing, inspect the burner ports. Many performance issues are caused by clogged ports — not burner failure.
Ports can often be cleared manually using a 3/32" drill bit (by hand only).
Replace the burner if:
- Ports cannot be cleared
- Flame is uneven across the burner
- Brass is flaking or separating
- Venturi tube is damaged
Brass vs Ceramic vs Cast Iron
- Cast Brass (OEM): Longest lifespan, corrosion resistant, factory performance
- Ceramic: High radiant heat, more fragile
- Cast Iron (Aftermarket): Budget option, requires oiling to prevent rust

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a genuine Lynx OEM burner?
Yes. This is genuine Lynx OEM Part #30485 — the original factory cast brass burner used in early-generation Lynx Professional grills.
Will this fit my Lynx grill?
This burner fits select Lynx Professional grills manufactured
between 2002–2014 in the E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, and Q series.
Because Lynx model names overlap across generations,
we strongly recommend verifying your model and serial number before ordering.
Can this replace a Lynx ProSear™ or Trident™ infrared burner?
No. This is a standard blue-flame cast brass burner.
It cannot replace infrared ProSear™ or Trident™ burners.
How do I know if my burner needs replacement?
If burner ports have widened into larger holes, brass is flaking,
or ports cannot be cleared with a 3/32" drill bit by hand,
replacement is recommended.
Is cast brass better than cast iron?
Cast brass offers superior corrosion resistance and longer service life.
Cast iron burners are more affordable but require regular oiling to prevent rust.
Why choose OEM instead of aftermarket?
OEM cast brass burners are engineered to Lynx’s original specifications for flame pattern, airflow, and longevity.
Aftermarket burners may fit, but often use different materials such as cast iron and may not provide the same lifespan or corrosion resistance.
Is this sold individually?
Yes. Burners are sold individually.
Most Lynx grills require multiple burners depending on grill size.
Need Help Confirming Fit?
Lynx model names overlap across generations. Ordering by grill size alone can result in the wrong burner.
