How Many Grids Does My Grill Need?
Sear Zone Layout Note:
On 42" and 56" ALX2/ALXE Sear Zone grills, the infrared sear burner is always on the left side. The left section uses a dedicated sear zone cooking grid, while this grate installs over the standard stainless steel U-burner section.

If your ALX2, ALXE, or AIPG grill includes an infrared Sear Zone, this cooking grid installs only over the standard stainless steel U-burner section. The infrared burner requires a dedicated sear zone cooking grid and the two are not interchangeable.
