Do I Need an Orifice?

Yes. Reuse the original orifice from your existing valve whenever possible. If the original orifice is unavailable or needs replacement, purchase the correct orifice for your grill's gas type.

Installation Note: When installing the orifice into the valve, use yellow gas-rated PTFE thread seal tape to help seal the threaded connection. Do not use standard white PTFE tape.

Mounting Clamp: Reuse your original clamp or purchase replacement BLZ-32-101.

About This Blaze Burner Valve

This genuine Blaze main burner valve features an aluminum body with an integrated piezo-style ignitor, approximately 3-1/8" igniter flash tube, and mounted electrode and wire.

When Should I Replace My Blaze Valve?

Consider replacing the valve if it is leaking, stuck, difficult to turn, or the built-in ignition has failed. Because the piezo ignition is integrated into the valve assembly, an ignition failure may require replacement of the complete valve.
