Ceramic & Trident Burner Technology
Lynx ceramic burners are made from corrosion-resistant cordierite ceramic and are designed to distribute heat consistently across the cooking surface. Ceramic radiant briquettes above the burners help control flare-ups and vaporize food drippings for added grilled flavor.
The Lynx Trident infrared burner differs from many sear-only infrared burners because its heat can be adjusted from approximately 300°F to 1000°F. This allows it to be used for everyday grilling as well as high-temperature searing.

Lynx L36TR FAQs
Can the Trident burner be used for everyday grilling?
Yes. Its variable temperature range allows it to cook at moderate temperatures as well as produce intense heat for searing.
Can I cook with indirect heat on the L36TR?
Yes. The three independently controlled cooking zones make it possible to turn off one burner and cook food away from the direct heat.
Is the L36TR suitable for rotisserie cooking?
Yes. It includes a dedicated 14,000-BTU rear infrared burner, dual-position rotisserie system, spit rod, and heavy-duty 3-speed motor.
Should I choose the L36TR or L42TR?
Choose the L36TR when a 36-inch grill provides enough capacity for your outdoor kitchen. The L42TR offers additional cooking space for larger gatherings or higher-volume cooking.
Who should choose the L36ATR?
The L36ATR is better suited to grill owners who prefer cooking entirely over variable-temperature infrared burners.
