Stainless Steel Briquette Tray
The tray is constructed from Stainless Steel and comes fully assembled with 18 ceramic briquettes.
Two removable locking bars secure the ceramic briquettes in position and allow the complete assembly to be turned over for cleaning.
The locking bars allow you to flip the complete tray assembly upside down while keeping the briquettes secured. With the tray inverted, run the burners on high for approximately 5–10 minutes to help burn grease and residue from the ceramic briquettes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the OEM and aftermarket briquette tray?
The main difference is the ceramic briquettes. This aftermarket assembly uses aftermarket ceramic briquettes, while the OEM Alfresco assembly uses briquettes embossed with the Alfresco "A". The aftermarket tray is designed as a replacement for the original Alfresco briquette tray.
How do I know when my Alfresco briquette tray needs replacing?
Replace the tray when the stainless steel has deteriorated to the point that it can no longer securely support the ceramic briquettes. If briquettes are beginning to fall through the tray, replacement is recommended. A deteriorated tray can also interfere with proper heat distribution across the cooking surface.
How do I clean the ceramic briquettes?
Flip the complete tray assembly upside down and run the burners on high for approximately 5–10 minutes to help burn off accumulated grease and residue.
Never wash or soak the ceramic briquettes with water or liquid cleaners. Moisture can cause ceramic briquettes to deteriorate.
Verify Fit Before Ordering
Alfresco replacement parts can vary by grill generation and serial number. If you have an ALX2 36" grill, verify that your serial number is 11-00000 or higher before ordering.
If you're unsure whether this tray fits your Alfresco grill, contact us with your model and serial number and we'll help verify the correct replacement.
