This high-quality aftermarket ignition electrode replaces Alfresco OEM part 210-0189 and is designed for AGBQ, ALX2, and ALXE gas grills. It restores reliable spark ignition to the main burner when the original electrode becomes cracked, worn, or fails to spark properly.

This electrode is designed to work inside the IG50 Collector Box . If your igniter is clicking but the burner will not light, first inspect the collector box for rust. A rusted or deteriorated collector box cannot hold enough gas around the electrode for the spark to ignite the burner properly.
Additional check: If you see a strong spark and the collector box is in good condition, the metal electrode probe may need a slight adjustment. Carefully adjust the probe closer to or slightly farther from the burner until ignition occurs.
