Do You Need a New Electrode?
If you have an L or M Series Lynx grill, inspect the electrode while replacing the ProSear burner. If it is cracked, damaged or no longer igniting properly, this is a good time to replace it.
L & M Series: OEM Lynx Electrode 33051 or Aftermarket Lynx Electrode.

When to Replace Your ProSear Burner

Replacing the Burner
- Shut off the gas supply and allow the grill to cool completely.
- Remove the cooking grate above the ProSear burner.
- Remove the existing burner. The ignitor electrode may need to be moved or removed first.
- Position the replacement burner correctly over the gas valve.
- Reassemble the grill and check for proper ignition and burner operation.

No. The earlier Lynx 31885 ProSear burner and newer Trident / ProSear2 burners are different and are not interchangeable with this 33000-style replacement.
