Built-In Grill Installation

Combustible vs. Non-Combustible Installations

Non-combustible islands such as concrete, stone, brick, or steel-stud construction use the standard grill cutout dimensions.

Combustible islands using wood framing require an insulated jacket and a larger opening to accommodate the jacket.

Important: An island with wood framing is considered combustible even when the exterior is covered with stucco or stone veneer. Follow the installation requirements for your specific Lynx grill and insulated jacket.
