Sedona by Lynx Replacement Burners

VIDEO

Find genuine OEM and premium aftermarket Sedona by Lynx replacement burners for built-in and freestanding gas grills. We carry the standard 23,000 BTU stainless steel U-burner used on all Sedona grills, plus OEM and aftermarket ProSear infrared burners for PS models.

Sedona Burner Types

Standard Blue Flame U-Burner

Every Sedona grill uses the same OEM stainless steel U-burner rated at 23,000 BTUs. These burners provide even heat distribution and reliable everyday grilling performance.

Compatible with: All Sedona L400, L500, L501, L600, L601, L700, and L701 grills equipped with standard stainless steel burners.

ProSear Infrared Burner

Models ending in PS include a factory-installed ProSear infrared burner in addition to one or more standard stainless steel U-burners

Two OEM ProSear burners have been used over the years:

  • 32915 – Original ProSear burner used on early Sedona L500 grills with the Lynx emblem.
  • 33943 – Current OEM ProSear burner used on newer Sedona by Lynx grills.

Both are direct-fit replacements and deliver the same infrared cooking performance when installed in compatible Sedona ProSear grills.

Can I Upgrade a Standard Burner to a ProSear Burner?

No. Standard Sedona grills cannot be converted to a ProSear configuration because the firebox does not include the factory mounting provisions for the ProSear ignition electrode. For proper ignition, burner alignment, and safe operation, always replace your burner with the type originally supplied with your grill.

BBQ Depot Expert Tip: If your burner is no longer heating evenly, inspect the briquette tray, ceramic briquettes, and ignition components while the grill is apart. Replacing worn cooking-system components together can help restore your grill's original performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do all Sedona grills use the same U-burner?

Yes. All Sedona L400, L500, L501, L600, L601, L700 and L701 grills use the same 23,000 BTU OEM stainless steel U-burner.

What does "PS" mean in a Sedona model number?

Models ending in PS include a factory-installed ProSear infrared burner in addition to the standard stainless steel burners.

Can I replace the original ProSear burner with the current version?

Yes. The original OEM ProSear burner (32915) and the current OEM burner (33943) are compatible replacements for Sedona grills originally equipped with a ProSear burner. We also offer a high-quality aftermarket replacement for OEM part 33943 that is an exact-fit replacement. Based on our experience servicing premium gas grills, it's one of our preferred replacement options because of its excellent construction, durability, and value.

Can I convert my Sedona grill to a ProSear model?

No. Standard Sedona grills cannot be converted because the firebox was not manufactured with the required mounting provisions for the ProSear ignition system.
