How to Replace a Lynx Grill Light Bulb

Before replacing the bulb, turn off the grill, disconnect the electrical power, and allow the grill and light assembly to cool completely.

  1. Carefully grasp the edges of the glass light cover and pull it downward to release it.
  2. If the cover does not release easily, check for a retaining screw or clip before applying additional pressure.
  3. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket. Do not twist it.
  4. Insert the correct replacement bulb straight into the socket.
  5. Reinstall the glass cover and confirm that it is securely seated.

Important: Avoid touching a halogen replacement bulb with bare fingers. Oils from your skin can shorten the life of the bulb. Use clean gloves or a soft cloth during installation.
